The house of Pébeyre is the only business in France which exclusively specialises in trading truffles.
Originally a small business of fine preserves founded by Pierre Pébeyre in 1897 in a hamlet lost in the north of the Lot, over 4 generations the house has become one of the leaders of the truffle market.
It was Alain Pébeyre, who took over the running of the business in 1920, who knew how to impose his business specialisation and give it it's national notoriety.
Grandson and great grandson of the founder, Jacques and Pierre-Jean Pébeyre carry out their work today without losing any of the traditional spirit belonging to this very specialised profession.
Working with truffles is not only about choosing and buying. It's especially about knowing how to gain people's trust and fidelity.
