Château Paillas 1996, with it's intense, ruby red has pretty, ripe fruity nose, complex and intense aromas of strawberry, blackberry and prunes : it's fruity effect evolves towards solid tannins.
For drinking staight away or, such a great potential, a wine to look into in a few years..

The colour of Château Paillas is even denser, it's nose attacks with blackberries followed by violets. It's taste, which is very concentrated in fruit, still has solid tannins.
Will soon be at it's best.

Château Paillas 1992 is coppery, it's evolved nose has a discreet scent of violet and it's taste is silky with well rounded tannins.

Now at it's best..

Domaine de Paillas 1992:

Domaine de Paillas produces very expressive wines which surprise with their intense fruit and affirmed character. A beautiful, limpid, garnet red. An intense, persistent scent evokes a basket of red fruit violet bursting through. The taste is charming, balanced and heady. For the finale we find this agreeable persistence of fruit accompanied by chocolate. A well constructed wine.
