   Château les Grauzils - Duc d'Istrie

Hachette Guide 1995:
Duc d'Istrie : 1992 : Limpid, with a terracotta shine, this wine gives of the perfume of prunes, cinnamon and vanilla. The effect is supple, prunes dominate the vanilla notes which both lead us to the finale.

Duc d'Istrie 1995 : Silver medal at Mâcon in 1997
A brillant dark ruby colour with solemn notes. It's nose is delicate and supple, the tannins in the barrels melt harmoniously into the tannins in the wine and give a lot of volume. Lenghty in the mouth.

   Château Les Grauzils

Château Les Grauzils 1994 : A limpid aspect and an intense ruby colour, this wine gives the nose the impression of a great concentration of black fruits, dominated by blackcurrant. The strong but non aggressive tannins, mixed with blackcurrant notes, evolve with great force.

Hachette Guide 1998:
Château les Grauzils 1995 : This wine has a bright colour, purple and intense. It's nose gives off the scent of black fruit. In the mouth, it's effect is beautiful and evolves into meltingly smooth tannins which lead you to the finale.

Château Les Grauzils 1996 : Silver medal at Mâcon in 1998.
Of a bright, deep, ruby red colour with some reflections. The powerful nose is marked by gooseberries and red berries. In the mouth, the effect is supple, the tannins melt in to the fruit with a perfect balance. The taste in the mouth lingers just long enough.
