If every year is different, none of them merit the indifference of our palates. The idea of "good years" does injustice to the work of certain wine makers who with wiseness and little madness, make an effort to reveal the essnce of each harvest.
You will discover through these different wines a barrelful of interest and virtues, which mix the pleasure of the tastebuds with the mind's curiosity..

For several years our wine has regulary received prizes in national competitions in Paris, Toulouse, Mâcon and Blayais-Bourgeois.

Our wine is mentioned in all the best wine guides; Gault et Millau, Guide Hachette, The Best French Wines and Patrick Gerber's Guide to Great French Wines to name but a few.

   Château La Caminade

60 millions de consommateurs ( a wine magazine) May 1998 issue, first prize in the Cahors section, 15,5 points out of 20.
Intense dark red colour with purple reflections, complex with a powerful nose, this wine has a scent of violets, berries and venison and a slight whiff of alcohol. It has a structured taste, round, ample, long in the mouth and with a good balance of fruit.

   Château La Caminade La Commandery

Hachette 1998 :
La Commandery is a special vintage aged in oak barrels. It is recognized by it's engaging and very dense garnet colour. It's complex nose comes from a lengthy ageing in oak with intense vanilla and cinammon notes. It's full rich taste is complex. The ever present woodiness expresses itself as much by it's perfume as by it's solid tannins which will get stronger.
